Hello, I’m Nicole Tonetto
To begin with, I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Nicole Tonetto and I have been on the move all my life. During my travels I was fascinated by the colours of the Orient, so much so that I decided to imprint those emotions on silk to make unique scarves.
I like the great contrasts of colours, flavours, experiences and landscapes of the East, which is why I try to recreate them in my art when I compose the colour patterns of my scarves.
As you may have guessed, art is a great passion for me and expressing myself creatively has always been more than just a pastime or an outlet.
What is Arabian Flow for me? A collection in which I see myself.
There are precise moments in my life, precise designs, feelings and emotions. To think that I can imprint those memories on fabric and know that they will then have a life of their own in someone else’s hands is exciting.
Thank you for taking a minute of your time to write this email, I really appreciate it!
Before we say goodbye, don’t forget to follow me on my official Instagram profile where I share my thoughts, inspirations and news about the Arabian Flow collection.
See you soon!
Here I am again, this time writing to tell you about some of the characteristics and peculiarities of Arabian Flow scarves.
Have you ever heard of marbling? No, we are not talking about marbled sweets, but an ancient decorative technique that has always been applied to paper.
Simplifying, we can say that in this technique colours are spread on a liquid surface, a sheet of paper is placed on top and once it has dried, we have created a marbled sheet.
While studying this decorative method, I wondered whether it might not be possible to replicate it on fabrics, perhaps even silk, since the colour would penetrate the fabric fibres and take on different shades.
This question was the spark that led to what is now called the Arabian Flow collection where, with different customisable colour combinations, you can give yourself (or have someone give you) a marbled scarf made entirely by hand, a unique piece halfway between a stylish object and a work of art.
Not a bad idea, is it?
Stay in touch, see you next time!
Hello and thanks again for your interest in the Arabian Flow project!
Today I want to talk to you about that, about the project, the philosophy behind it, the almost magical infatuation that started it all.
Arabian Flow was born from trips to the East, from Dubai to the Arabian Desert, from the sensations that those unique places transmit with their colours and contrasts. An idea that is therefore difficult to synthesise, if not with a product that unites two worlds as distant as the West and the East.
If you notice, the headscarf is a special accessory, one of the few used unanimously from Arabia to Europe and throughout the western world. Arabian Flow was therefore created as the ideal accessory for lightness and versatility of use, bringing with it the taste and colours of the Orient rethought thanks to unique and innovative processing techniques and textures.
When you wear an Arabian Flow scarf you are wearing a symbol of unity between peoples, a versatile accessory and a unique artistic product, totally handmade in Italy.
Your support is vital to keep the project going, tell three friends about it today!
See you soon!
